Bourne Jewelry & Design began with an introduction to metal smithing class 5 years ago. Since then, I have traveled the United States taking classes from amazing metal smithing instructors learning techniques that I have incorporated into my jewelry line.I have joyfully put in my 10,000 hours of practice to perfect my craft. Inspired by the colors of nature, textures and formations, I incorporate natural rose cut gemstones, soft hand cut Italian leathers, and detailed texturing of precious metals to create my unique jewelry designs. All jewelry is fabricated in my Houston studio. As an emerging artist who has lived a full life with my hockey playing husband and our two amazing grown sons, I feel that my work reflects an ever curious attitude and joy in finding my second passion in life - creating jewelry.
