I am a native Houstonian with a degree in Art Education from Texas State University. I currently work mostly in acrylic to create colorful, abstract paintings. My passion for art began at an early age. I was given the opportunity to study under abstract artist Lamar Briggs and several other Texas artists in my teens. Though I have always enjoyed painting traditional landscapes and still lives, my style over the years has become varied. I have most recently began painting abstracts and have found new excitement and freedom with this form. I work with various designers around town to try to create paintings for their clients with strong design, color, and energy in each commissioned piece. I like working and listening to clients and getting their input and ideas to produce something beautiful that they will enjoy owning. I take commission work by request, but also try to always have completed work to sell in my studio. Please come visit me!
