I draw on my background in psychology to evoke emotions through a style which combines impressionism with abstract work. Most of my art focuses on the interplay of color and texture, and and many of my pieces include wash techniques to help create specific moods. Also, my passion for taking bits and pieces of brokenness to create something beautiful and new shows up in my collages. While most of my work is with acrylics, you never know what else might end up in a piece. I am continually growing and experimenting with new techniques.
