Lyn Sullivan is a contemporary urban photographer based in Houston and whose home away from home is Paris, France. Her images capture her love affair with Paris and other cities through her social, historic and abstract interpretations of their urban environments. The images represented here are from four distinctive series: "Cafes to Chateaux", "N'oubliez Jamais", "Clarity in the Shadows" and "Museum Abstractions-Detachments from the Whole". Sullivan recently received significant recognition for her photography from the prestigious Archives de Paris. She traveled to Paris in 2017 to attend a ceremony in her honor at the Archives and presented 25 of her photographs for placement in its permanent collection. Sullivan's work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions throughout the United States and is collected by both private and corporate collectors in the United States and Europe.
