A painting is alive, it lives after the artist has put down the brush. I believe to make a painting have life takes a vision, technical ability and beauty that lends verisimilitude. My inspiration is in the natural world, where improving is not necessary but to translate it to a blank canvas provides a huge challenge and very happy to take it on.
