Inspired by a tree limb hanging from our backyard fence, it just reminded me of something. I would walk back and forth from the living room to the kitchen watching it through the floor to ceiling windows. I must admit, I became obsessed as if I recognized it. Like this dead limb hanging by a thread from the fence was a person. Then I realized it was. It wasn't really dead. It had character. It was speaking to me. Telling me all about its life. Where it came from. How it came to life. The adventures it had. So, each piece represents a part of that story. Its evolution. Its name. Creature.
